FAQ

Questions we’ve been asked

What geographical areas do you cover?

All our services are available throughout Hampshire, West Sussex, Dorset, Surrey and the Isle of Wight. Our Mobile Crèche, Event Childcare, Wedding Day Childcare and Nanny Recruitment services are all national services.

What makes Freedom Childcare unique?

At Freedom we employ all our staff directly so they are all interviewed in person and have detailed inductions covering our policies and procedures. Freedom Staff wear our own branded uniform and carry photographic identification. Our staff are monitored and receive regular training and development opportunities. Similarly, we meet all our families and clients to discuss their needs and requirements. Only by meeting both our clients and staff can we understand how to match them successfully.  We have staff that have worked for us for many years and pride ourselves on our friendly can-do attitude!

How can I pay for your services?

We accept all credit cards (except AMEX), cash, cheque, BACS, Standing Orders and childcare vouchers.

How often do I have to use your services?

You can use us for one off booking or regular requirements.

Can your staff transport children?

As part of our recruitment process, staff will have been required to supply us with copies of their insurance policy, MOT certificate and driving licence. Only staff that have met these requirements would be able to transport children.

How are your staff vetted?

All staff have:

  • Current DBS disclosures (police checks)
  • They have signed health declarations from their GP
  • We see all original certificates of education and courses attended
  • They have to provide two forms of identification
  • Two verified professional references
  • We investigate any gaps in employment history
  • Thoroughly interviewed including scenario based questioning and set questions
