In all our fields of services, staff are selected based on their qualifications, experience and aptitude for the role.

They are expected to conduct themselves in line with our policies, procedures and standards of services at all times.

You can expect our staff to be of the highest calibre, they will be professional, punctual and will all have empathy for families and their needs.

Our team of workers are as diverse as our services and therefore we can accommodate all numbers and needs of children and families including special needs.

Emma

Hi I’m Emma and I’ve worked with children for over 22 years! I’ve worked in schools, crèches, nurseries, after school clubs and as a nanny over the years. My favourite job was when I was a children’s rep for Thomson Holidays when I was 19 & 20!

I now have a five year old little boy and work as a nanny and also in a local nursery. I have been part of the ‘freedom family’ since October 2015 and have looked after many children in a variety of settings such as  babysitting in hotels, a crèche, various nurseries and my favourite where I looked after a little boy on his parent’s wedding day. It was such an honour to be a part of their special day. I now look after a lovely 11 year old a few times a month after school where we have a good laugh together. I hold an NVQ2 in Childcare & Education and I am also an Ofsted registered nanny.

When I’m not working, I love to snuggle down with my favourite book or go out for a country walk with my family when the weather is nice. I also love horse riding but haven’t been for a while.

I lived in Poole for 15 years, but I’ve now returned to my roots and live in a village just outside Blandford Forum.

Angela

I’m Angela. I have worked for freedom for over 5 years. I originally worked as a specialist nanny for families with extra needs. I have over 20 years’ experience in childcare and have a level 3 childcare qualification.

I’ve nannied, worked in social services and education. My speciality is with children and families with additional needs. Since joining Freedom, I became a mum and now work hours around him.

I enjoy working with Freedom as they offer a variety of work from babysitting to creche work, nursery cover to social services work. They offer a competitive rate of pay and cover expenses if necessary.

The team are lovely and offer support when needed.

Annabelle

I have been working for Freedom Childcare for 18 months. I babysit for families at the Goodwood and Bailiffs Court Hotel, and some local holiday residences. I really enjoy meeting the families I work for and getting to know them. I babysit while parents are going for an evening meal or I look after children during the day while their parents attend an event or get some much appreciated spa time.

It’s been fun to be at Goodwood when it’s the Festival of Speed or the Revival and our clients go to an evening ball while I care for their children. I always take activities with me to keep the children busy such as books, games, toys and crafts depending on their ages, and we have a lovely time winding down before bedtime.

I would recommend working for Freedom Children, the staff have always been friendly and approachable, and the work is varied and interesting.

Sophie

I’m Sophie, and I have been a professional sole charge nanny for the past 9 years! I am currently based on the Isle of Wight.

I have worked with children from newborn to teens in varying different roles, multiples, nanny shares, holiday nanny, temporary nanny, maternity nanny and travelling nanny.

I have worked with Freedom since moving back down to the Island in the Autumn of 2018. Outside of childcare, I like to go to the gym, travel and spend quality time with family and friends.

Liz

Hi my name is Liz. I have worked for freedom for three and a half years. I provide support work, supervised contacts, babysitter, crèche worker and nanny. No two jobs are the same!

I have over 15 years’ experience of working in childcare. I’m a mum of two children, a border collie and two cats.
