Whatever your needs and requirements our trained office team will happy to help and advise you. We pride ourselves on our professional and personal service and recognise one size doesn’t fit all!

Our team in the office come from a variety of backgrounds including teaching, personnel, training, business admin, accounts, sales and customer service. One thing we all have in common is our dedication to the highest levels of care and service.

Freedom - Fran

Fran Graves

I have had an extensive background of people management and have a diploma in Business and Finance. In a previous life BC (before children) I ran large retail outlets and managed teams, products and bottom lines.

Post children I am still managing Teams but my product has changed significantly, my main role within the business is to develop teams, ensure quality and create new areas of business. I have always loved children , I have an eye for detail and incredibly high standards. My can do attitude is how we have grown the business ….it is also the thing that drives my team to distraction! In my spare time I love renovating properties and when not doing that I’m spending time with my family or enjoying being part of the local triathlon club. I love helping families and organisations with their childcare or social care needs, the more complex the better— problem solving gives me great satisfaction.


Haidee Mayers

I’ve worked at Freedom for 2.5 years. I’ve been hitting the ground running every day since. No two days are the same, and our rolls in the office are defined by the needs and requests of our clients.

My role involves anything from operations, logistics, staff placement, payroll, accounting, customer services, van driving, kit sorting, haulage, face painting, castle building and craft making.

I’ve worked in education for over ten years, predominately early years, but also up to KS3. Prior to that I’ve worked in hotels and catering. I am a mum of three young people, a Labrador and crazy spaniel. I’ve been involved with the local hockey club for many years and serve as the Welfare officer. In my spare time, I run a small independent firm called ‘Mum’s Taxi’.

Freedom - Liz

Liz Lloyd

I’m the newbie to the company having joined some 10 months ago. For the past 12 years I have made my family my priority and I am now a mum of a teenage boy. My employment background is in corporate banking and finance, including being the assistant bursar at a local school.

These careers have made me a stickler for detail and have given me the ability to see the bigger picture. (My husband refers to me as ‘The Oracle’). My role is dependent on what is required on a day to day basis but I most enjoy being part of a friendly team that ensures our clients childcare needs are met. Being a mum helps me understand the importance of this. My hobbies include baking, keeping fit, and spending time with the family in the great outdoors on legs or wheels! All of these are great stress relief activities and help me cope with the many changing demands of the job. I originally started in Operations, taking and processing clients requests which is a great way to get a feel for how Freedom Childcare works. More recently I have moved into the accounts department where I deal with client invoicing and payroll but can still multi task when needed!


Julie Nicholson

I am currently in the role of recruitment. I have a teaching background in Primary and lecturing in College. I have also been a nanny and carried out a variety of childcare roles.

I consider myself to be a people person and this role gives me the opportunity to meet people from all different childcare backgrounds and help them on their career journeys.


Sandra Farmer

I have been employed by Freedom Childcare since 2006 my main role is Business Development. My back ground as an account manager for a Stationery and office equipment company.

My role for Freedom ranges from facilitating Craft fairs and Wedding Fares, promote Freedoms service, attending recruitment days at colleges and maintaining healthy relationships with our partner hotels and other businesses. I also apply my previous experience and ensure we are always in supply of stationary at the best price!


Tamsyn Beach

Tamsyn is a qualified bookkeeper with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and works with Freedom Childcare and a number of other small businesses and charities in all areas of payroll, pensions, VAT and accounts management.

Mum to two teenage boys, Tamsyn spends much of her free time as football cheerleader and chauffeur. Her favourite thing to do is walk her dog on the sea wall.

Alex - Freedom

Alex Savage

Alex has a vast admin and childcare & education background. She has a varied role at Freedom; working part time in the office and ‘out in the field’ as a Nanny, Support Worker, Creche worker, Babysitter … you name it-she does it!

She has two teenage children of her own and has a passion for horses and riding.
