Freedom Childcare are delighted to be working in partnership with Portsmouth University and will be supplying their Creche for the Pontoon Festival, located in the Eldon Building at the University.

What You Need To Know:

Please bring a named bag with everything your child will need for the day if you are not collecting your child for lunch please ensure you provide a packed lunch in a named bag.

The number you give us on the registration form will be how we contact you on the day please ensure you are checking it regularly for messages from us.

The creche is open for all ages of children.

Please complete the registration form for each child and ensure we have full accurate details on the day. The creche has a maximum capacity and will be on a first come first served basis so please register ASAP, spaces may not be available on the day for last minute requirements but please ask we will accommodate where possible.

Party at the Priory Bay

We used Freedom Childcare when we held a weekend party at the Priory Bay Hotel and wanted to give the adults the chance to all enjoy dinner together. They provided a really great team who understood the differing needs of the children, inspiring instant, and proven, trust from both the parents and the young. The children had a really fun evening and all ended up peacefully asleep, much to the delight to the parents. My friends and family had nothing but complements for Freedom Childcare. Fran and her team found us a fantastic nanny - hugely experienced, creative and wonderful with special needs. The children have had so many enriching experiences and their academic results have also improved. Our nanny was a finalist for Nursery World Nanny of the Year 2019, and no wonder - she is brilliant! The process of finding a nanny with Freedom was very smooth - they sent us the right candidate straight away, so we didn’t need to interview a lot of applicants. The team supported us with the contract and other paperwork and helped us negotiate the right package. All with a personal touch and local knowledge that you don’t find with the national agencies.

Having 3 children and working full time means I will need help with the children! I have used other agencies and nanny service groups therefore have experience with these matters and as such having worked with freedom I can confidently say they are the best!!! The staff is top notch and the nannies are warm friendly caring loving and genuinely pleasant and caring people! Very friendly but professional approach to caring

My daughter Jessica has been receiving support from the fantastic team from Freedom care since the beginning of the lockdown. The care workers are all so knowledgeable and experienced and bring a very friendly but professional approach to caring for Jessica. Jessica has built a lovely bond with all the carer's who have come to our home, and in particular Danni who has been with us from the start. I am amazed at how quickly Jessica has got on with them all, and how she has just wanted to share her place with them. The support that the team has given us is very appreciated. Jessica needs constant supervision and interaction, and those 3 hours in a Sunday give my husband and I quality time with our other daughter Lillia. Jessica has had Danni, Tracy, Naomi, Alice, Naomi and Claire from the team to care for her. They are all lovely friendly and caring ladies who all want to give Jessica their support. There have been a few behaviour's they have had to deal with from Jessica, but have all been dealt with in a professional experienced manner. Jessica really enjoys her time with the carer's and looks forward to her Sunday mornings now. A Sunday used to be a difficult day for us as was unstructured, something that Jessica hard. Now I can tell her that the team are coming to visit her in the morning to play, and it makes the whole day easier for us as she is usually quite tired by the afternoon. Jessica has a play house in her garden that they play in and watch dvds ( her favourite is Take that the circus). Also a trampoline, her bedroom with books and magazines to share. They also go for a walk round our village using her trike, and then stay and support her with her lunch. We really do appreciate all the support the team give us, and it makes such a big difference to all the family, thank you x

Prize Winner loving our childcare

Thanks once again for an amazing day on Thursday. We loved our spa day at Carey’s and came away feeling completely rejuvenated. I have to admit it was a bit daunting - even after winning the prize, thinking that we would be leaving our 2 and 4 year olds with strangers in our own home. However after speaking to you on the phone and understanding how it all worked you made me feel at ease. When you arrived on the morning you made the boys feel so happy and safe that I knew I didn’t need to worry. When I came home, the boys were so happy playing in the garden with Jess, they didn’t even seem very bothered that I had come home! She was dressed up in a pirate hat, playing catch, had been making mud pies - and had time for painting. Without asking I was given a full run down of what they had been up to, what they had eaten etc. I would be very happy to recommend Freedom Childcare to anyone who needs a nanny!

Julia has provided outstanding service in all respects, providing all relevant aspects of childcare including education, guidance, artistic and moral development, well-being and a great sense of pleasure and fun throughout the time she has looked after Ona. We will all miss her and the relationship.
