Supply Cover

We manage a large bank of childcare professionals and our team consists of a variety of staff that all work vocationally within the childcare sector, experienced in Nursery, preschool & Crèche environments. Staff are available to access on an ad hoc basis to cover; sickness cover, holidays, maternity cover, attendance changes and all the other eventualities requiring temporary staff to join your team.

Our robust vetting process will ensure all staff are qualified/ experienced have first aid training and are DBS, medical and reference checked. They will all have undergone a Freedom interview and induction in person and will have signed a contract and follow our policies and procedures.

We can recruit for vacancies for you and we can offer a temporary to permanent option also. This mean if you need a vacancy filled we can send you a temp, if you like them you can recruit them. This is a fantastic way of reducing the risks associated with recruitment. These services are charged in a one off fee at 10% of the gross annual salary. (the salary you will be paying them) This fee is then reduced on a pro rat basis dependent on the period they have been working with you as a temporary member of staff.

VAT is chargeable in addition to these prices at a rate of 20%.

To Make a Booking

Please send an email stating the location, times, dates and any requirements regarding qualifications to booking@freedomchildcare.com. Please also call on 0800 0851444 to alert us to short notice bookings.

Cancellation Fee

A cancellation fee is also in place. Any bookings cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at the number of hours originally booked. This includes when a member of Freedom Staff has turned up at a booking but is no longer required. In these instances, we would encourage the Client to accept the worker and provide work for them to avoid cost wastage for the Client.

Staffing:

Where possible, and subject to availability, we would source staff based locally to you. However, where this is not possible; due to time restraints or availability we may source staff from further afield: additional charges will be required to cover the staff member’s time and / or the staff members mileage: Time would be charged to the nearest quarter of an hour at same hourly rate as booking. Mileage would be charged at 55p per mile for mileage to & from the booking. Additional charges will be confirmed in advance of the booking.

Time sheets

Our staff member will bring a time sheet with her, this should be signed by the most senior member of staff available for the hours that have been used. The member of staff is responsible for returning the time sheet to the office. Staff will also bring praise cards with them. This helps us keep up to date with the staff’s progress and also lets you inform us of how your booking went.

Payments

Invoices are raised once we have confirmed staffing arrangements for your booking.

Payment for Ad hoc Childcare will be invoiced monthly; ideally invoices should be paid within 30 days of the date of the invoice.

Payments can be paid by BACS – please send a remittance of your payment if you are paying by this option.

If you choose to pay your invoices on a booked basis rather than after the event we can offer you a 5% discount on our prices. We will then amend any changes on the following months invoicing.

Membership

Client Portal

Freedom are soon to be offering the ability to make your own bookings on a client portal this will be an automated system so again will offer you added availability and flexibility. This will only be available to members.

Early Bird Bookings

We can offer a membership to a scheme that can guarantee cover that is requested between 7am and 9am on a daily basis.  This is specifically to help you overcome last minute staffing changes such as sickness.

Office Hours

Our office is open Monday-Friday 9.00am –5.00pm. We have an out of hour’s service; the numbers for this are changed weekly and are left on the answer machine on this number 0800 0851444. If you are unable to contact the out of hours number please use WhatsApp to contact us on 07977 205048 as we may not have a phone signal but may be able to receive a Voice over IP call.
